LIFT2 Teacher Benefits

 

The LIFT2 program team strives to continuously improve its professional learning program based on research and feedback from past and current teachers.

Stipend for summer externship

Teachers are paid a stipend of $800/week for successful completion of a summer externship in industry. Externships range from 5-8 weeks in duration based on the requirements of the sponsoring organizations. Stipend payments are issued weekly following receipt of an original signed timesheet. Note: this is taxable income.

 

Twelve credits awarded through Framingham State University

Teachers have the opportunity to earn twelve graduate level credits for successful completion of three professional development course modules. Each teacher is expected to commit the time and intellectual energy to successfully complete these three course modules.


LIFT2 pays for tuition and books.

 

Access to the LIFT2 online collaborative learning community during and following completion of the program.
